What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the details of your enquiry. We use this only to read and reply to your message. The form is delivered to our inbox by an email service called Resend; the message is not stored in a database on this website.
When you browse the site
If you accept analytics cookies (see below), we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. This tells us about visits in the aggregate — it is not used to identify you personally. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same.
Our lawful basis
We handle enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch about work. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share information with the services that run this site for us:
- Resend — delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
- Google Analytics — measures site usage, only if you accept cookies.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
We never sell your information or share it for advertising. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they are required to protect it to UK standards.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request and, where relevant, the working relationship that follows. Analytics data is retained by Google for a limited period and holds no directly identifying details.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies until you choose. Only if you accept do we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure visits. Your choice is remembered on your device. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Emailcontact@dcs.london and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) atico.org.uk.
